Here is a list of fun activities toddlers can enjoy in August
Modesh World Workshops
The government entities of Modesh World, located at the Dubai World Trade Centre, are organizing various edutainment workshops this summer. Every Wednesday in August, toddlers can take part in Little Firefighter by Dubai Civil Defence, a new workshop taking place from 6.30-7.30pm on August 3, 10 and 17, and from 8-9pm in August. 24. In addition to workshops, the Modesh World experience is home to a wide range of games, shows, events, contests and workshops for the whole family.
Summer camp and book fair
Dubai Public Library starts its summer camp today and also offers a second-hand book fair at Hatta Library. The Dubai Public Library Summer Camp has a wide range of books available at the Hatta Used Book Fair, with prices ranging from Dh2 to Dh10. The book fair showcases 2,588 books for adults and children, including children’s stories, Arabic novels, religious books, and books on law, poetry, medicine, education, technology, finance, history and other types of knowledge. Little ones between the ages of 5 and 15 can also enjoy a range of innovative activities and workshops as part of the summer camp. Children will learn the art of writing; making and decorating rugs by weaving pieces of fabric; make a wooden table; flower arrangement; making candles, perfumes and soap; decorating cakes, making terrazzo moulds; and many other activities that will allow them to give free rein to their imagination, develop their skills and put joy in their hearts. Adventures in nature
What better way to keep your kids entertained and occupied over the summer than with a healthy and active camp experience? Aventura Parks Summer Camp offers lots of hands-on activities for your little ones until August 26. Activities kids may enjoy include Team Building, Arts & Science, and Animal Care. Choose between daily and weekly summer camps – morning, afternoon or full day with prices from Dh180 per child all inclusive of snacks, unlimited water and free entry to Dubai Mushrif Park . Future Heroes Summer Camp
The Dubai Museum of the Future invites children to its first-ever Future Heroes summer camp featuring an array of interactive educational activities. Children aged 6 to 13 can participate in the summer camp which takes place for three weeks in August. Camp themes include space exploration, sustainability, ecology and wellness. It aims to cover topics such as robotics and AI, coding, art, and photography. Registration is now open for the Future Heroes Summer Camp. Interested attendees can register to secure a place, with only a limited number of tickets available. Reservations can be made on the official website of the site. Each ticket includes four days of fun activities, various STEAM workshops and a guided tour of the Museum of the Future. On each floor, children will be able to draw inspiration from the field visit to the exhibition and relate to the different themes around which their activities are based. Soccer summer camp
Head to Dubai’s newest sports facility with FIFA-approved pitches and the most spectacular downtown skyline as BALLERS launches its new football summer camp for toddlers. Designed to embody integrity, teamwork and sportsmanship, while building passion and love for football, summer begins August 8th. Suitable for ages 6-16 where they can learn the basics of the beloved sport. The summer camp is priced at 1800 Dh including fruit, water and a Ballers jersey.
