Josh Turner and Justin Moore to perform at outdoor camping festival

Central Tennessee is less than a month away from the start of the Lynchburg Music Fest 2020: a three-day country music and camping festival in Mulberry, Tennessee.

Josh Turner, Justin Moore, Riley Green and Kip Moore will headline this year’s event, which takes place October 2-4. The festival promises three stages with more than 25 performers, including Danielle Bradbery, who was added to the roster on Friday.

The second annual festival has been reduced from two days to three. Another novelty for 2020: security measures related to COVID-19. A section on the festival’s website describes the precautions to be taken, including providing masks to all participants and workers.

“Masks are mandatory in high density festival areas, with the exception of eating, drinking or other Lynchburg Music Fest approved situations,” the website said.

The site says temperature checks will be required for all people at the entrance, and “a significant increase in security personnel will be added to ensure social distancing practices near stages and on festival grounds.”

Lynchburg Music Fest appears to be the first large-scale, multi-day music festival held in Middle Tennessee since the coronavirus pandemic put the concert industry on hold in March. Last year’s inaugural event featured Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry and Joe Diffie – the latter having died of complications from COVID-19 in March.

Tickets start at $ 25 for a day admission and $ 80 for weekend passes, with VIP and camping upgrades also available. For more information, visit www.lynchburgmusicfest.com.
