LTC Lunch - Some Content Has Been Removed”: Teaching and Research in an Era of Information Suppression

Tue, September 30, 2025 • 11:45am - 1:00pm (1h 15m) • Weitz 236

The current presidential administration has been making changes to the ways that the US federal government archives and publishes information. We will explore questions of access around government information, and how you and your students can continue to work with these collections when you don’t always know their full scope. We will also give you resources that you can use in your own classroom, including ideas for talking to students about how information is produced and shared in your discipline.

Sarah Calhoun, Reference & Instruction Librarian
Adam Lewis, Reference & Instruction Librarian
Katie Lewis,  Cataloging and Government Documents Librarian
Sean Leahy, Reference & Instruction Librarian

Students are welcome to attend.
